Our two main hosting platform are in Manchester, UK and our secondary servers are in Capetown, South Africa

A full VESDA system that provides early detection of smoke is in place, so that any potential fire is detected before it can develop. In the extremely unlikely event that a fire does develop, an FM200 fire suppression system is in place.

With security on site 24/7 and offsite R1Soft backups to deal with any major event. CCTV cameras, motion detection and a key fob access system ensure multiple layers of security and peace of mind. The facility houses on-site 24/7 technical support for fast on-site response.

Creating webnames

In 2015, the founders of uHostAfrica launched Webnames as a new venture in the Zimbabwean market. However, after approximately one year, they made the decision to prioritize uHostAfrica and subsequently divested their interest in Webnames Zimbabwe. As of 2016, both Theo and Chris have no links to Webnames Zimbabwe/Carrot Creative and its operations.
